New follower from "What's for Lunch Wednesday's" link-up. :)
After attending Early-On and therapy for about 6 mos. my daughter was given an educational autism diagnosis. She's now five and half and I just had her last IEP last month (hopefully forever!). I know it's not the case for everyone but the early intervention, special education, occupational and speech therapy were her saving grace. She still has some social and what I like to call "quirks" :) that we continue to work on but I think as a parent you know your child and begin to find the things that make them "tick" and how to handle the meltdowns and sensory needs (as best you can anyways). :) She also battles a severe peanut allergy, so I understand (to a degree) the challenges that come along with that.
Happy to have found your blog and see more of your postings. :)
